I can't say that this is a true solution to this issue as its only been a few days, so I won't be returning the new ones.

Now that the beats are working I kinda feel like I wasted my money on the Bose. As I write this, I'm using the pair of power beats 3 that I didn't feel like paying the $115 repair fee to have replaced while only receiving a 90 day warranty. I plugged them in to charge them and they both charged to 100%. I put 2 sets of dead beats (power beats wireless 3 + solo wireless 2) in the freezer for a couple of days and when I took them out they both started to blink. I did some research and apparently lithium batteries can benefit or be "boosted" by cold temperatures. I was still ****** that I had a few unusable pairs of beats lying around due to the dead batteries. After going through the warranty process a couple of times and paying fees due to expired warranties, I recently decided to move to Bose. It ***** cause there are few headphones that match the powerbeats for working out.
BEATS UPDATER DOESNT SUPPORT PWERBEATS3 BLUETOOTH
Can anyone try to confirm if maybe the problem is cell service and your location of your workout? Apple support is sending me a box to ship my esrbuds back but it seems that this will continue to happen with any additional Powerbeats I get anyways based on everyone’s comments.I have had this problem with every bluetooth beats product I've had for the past couple of years. The gym near my home is one story and I don’t have a problem there. 3) Plug your Beats audio accessory into your computer with the supplied (or equivalent) cable. 2) Launch the tool after the installation completes.
BEATS UPDATER DOESNT SUPPORT PWERBEATS3 INSTALL
The hotel gym is under two stories of hotel rooms and I get very poor cell service there as well. To check for a software update for any of the above Beats audio devices, you’ll need to follow these steps: 1) Download and install the Beats Updater tool on your computer. The following Monday, I’m back out of town and in the gym and bam, back to malfunctioning. When I got back home the following weekend, I went for a run outside, which is were I do most of my running and then the earbuds worked like normal again. I tried to reset it numerous times with the help of Apple Support but the earbuds always went back to malfunctioning. Hello everyone, I had my Powerbeats 3 for two months without any problems and then I went out of town and began experiencing crazy malfunctions with my earbuds such as they would skip to different songs, try to open up Siri and would it turn off. How absolutely frustrating!!! I guess these headphones are really made for your active couch potato, and maybe even requires that the active couch potato sit in air conditioning.

In the time in which I could not get them connect, I would see the white led light flash three times and that was it. After I experienced mine turning off less than two miles into my run this morning, it took a few hours before I could get them to turn on and connect again. Despite the fact Apple claims the headphones to be "sweat resistant," the apple support member began to explain to me how different people sweat more or less than others, and that the headphones are not "sweat proof." So, apparently, if you sweet too much over the course of your work out - let's say while training for a marathon like I am - they will naturally get wet from your sweat, and then they will turn off like they are suppose to in some sort of defense. I was just told by an Apple support member that the Powerbeats 3 headphones have a function that causes them to turn off if the device if gets wet.
